Today, Joyce brings you a second interview with author & attorney Richard Duarte. Richard's book Surviving Doomsday – A Guide for Surviving an Urban Disaster is a "no nonsense easy-to-understand guide on how to prepare for, and survive, an urban disaster" and is available online.

Whether it’s a storm, a terrorist attack, or any number of other potential tragedies – people need to be prepared. When disasters strike, people are often caught unprepared because they lacked the necessary skills, or they failed to make adequate plans.

My guest today is Richard Duarte.  Richard is the author of Surviving Doomsday and speaks from experience.   His own home was destroyed in Hurricane Andrew as he and his family hid in the closet.   Thankful to be alive, he knew he had to make sure they were never placed in a dangerous situation like this again.
