Captain Simpson is also the author of The Nautical Prepper and a U.S. Merchant Marine officer with decades of boating and expedition sailing experience. He has successfully survived long-term off the grid at remote uninhabited desert islands with his family using sailboats that he equipped for that purpose. Michael and Joshua Interview Captain Bill and learn more about his past and experience, and we talk a bit about coronal mass ejections or CME's (also known as Solar Storms).
