9:00-10:00PM CT: Self-Reliant Living with Jim Phillips.Tonight's topic: If It Breaks, Fix It--A DIY Approach to Self-Reliance. When things you depend on stop working properly or quit all together, do you just give up and hope for rescue, or that somehow things will change on their own? Such thinking will only guarantee that you are a victim!

Jim and guest Kent Scott share tips, techniques and tools to help you keep going when things are tough and you are on your own. You need a survival toolbox, both literally and figuratively, that will keep you going. First it is about your attitude and how you think. Then it’s about skills, tools and supplies that you have, and how to use them. Kent is a long time friend and associate of Jim's who has a very diverse background in science and technology, plus an understanding of how and why things work. He is a consultant who has developed many unusual solutions to a wide variety of issues. He has an eye towards and experience in self-reliance; that is, find a way to fix it, build it, replace it, turn up a substitute or learn how to do just fine without it. In short he is a creative innovator of solutions that are outside of the box. Mr. Scott is one who can help you think differently and have some of the “tools” that you need to make it through challenging situations.
