Floyd K. Mims Sr., Founder & Grandmaster of American Chi Kung and Grandmaster of American Gung Fu.

1971 - 1974 – Studied Gung Fu under Grandmaster James Elliot Frazier.
1974 - 1979 – Developed Knowledge and Taught Chi Kung and Gung-Fu style. 
1979 – Help Founded Khalifa International Martial Arts Association.
1979 – Received Black Sash 2 nd Degree from Master Shaheed A. Sultan.
1983 – Received Black Belt 2 nd Degree from International Master Instructor Young Taek Yu.
1985 - Founded American Gung-Fu Association.
1993 – Received Black Sash (Master Teacher) from Master Shaheed A. Sultan.
1995 – Received Master title from Grandmaster Frazier after passing the styles of Sil Lum, Choy Lay Fut, Wing Chun, Hung gar.
1995 - Became Grandmaster when Grandmaster Frazier passed away and received Grandmaster title also from American Gung-Fu Association members. 
2003 - 2004 – Inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame – New Jersey.
Inducted into the World Karate Union Hall of Fame
