THE EFFECTS OF SO CALLED REALITY TV ON FEMALE PSYCHE

For well over a quarter century, sociologists have researched and issued studies on the impact of violent TV shows &  video games upon the behaviors of boys. We have seen the rise in violent crimes and jail time increase as the violent content and number of TV channels, movies and games in the consumer market escalate.

The attention has now turned to the impact and effect of so called REALITY TV upon the behaviors and psyche of the female viewing segment. The ratings for shows such as the variety of RHO whatever city, football/basketball wives, the Kardashians and a plethora of others continue to skyrocket, there has been a alarming rise in teenage sexual activity, anti social and violent behavior.

People are quick to place the blame upon the entertainment industry or soceity for the images displayed, but the blame is misplaced. WHO are the ones that APPROVE what gets viewed under the roof and who CHOOSES to turn the TV to CHANNEL ZERO?
