BLUE SKY PIE MAY TASTE GOOD, BUT ITS NOT TOO FILLING.

A few evenings ago, Tavis Smiley Reports aired the documentary "TOO IMPORTANT TO FAIL" regarding the plight of black boys in America.

Once again, solutions were discussed WITHOUT adequately addressing the ROOT CAUSES of the problem these black boys face. What wasn't discussed is the function of TIME, ENERGY AND EFFORT required to properly raise and guide these boys at BIRTH.

The one or two hours a week expended by mentors gets negated once the boy is sent back into a dysfunctionally run household where he dictates the policy and sets the agenda and manner of behavior he exhibts.
