It’s been said that the black community is the canary of the society at large. In the coal mining industry, miners would take canaries into the mines to gauge the amount of toxic gases, as the miners would drill for coal.
Those of the society who had the least would be the first to experience any social or economic downturn affecting the nation. But something different has occured which is having a PROFOUND impact upon tens of millions of people.
Since the financial housing fallout of 2007, the impact of this occurence has far reaching effects across not only race, but income and educational levels as well.
