"I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED...I DIDN'T SEE IT COMING" are phrases often used by those who CHOOSE not to SEE, especially when something terrible occurs as a result.

This past April 20th, marked the eleven year anniversary of the 1999 shooting at Columbine High School. As horrific as the event was, little seems to have changed as the rise in violence on school campuses continues to grow out of proportion.

More recently, Nine Massachusetts teens were indicted Monday for driving a pretty 15-year-old "new girl" from Ireland to suicide in a case that has become a symbol of high tech school bullying.

When parents choose to OPT OUT of their responsiblities to supervise and monitor their childrens activities and behaviors, society WILL step in to fill the void.
