The DJ SQWYD show will be holding a weeklong series on the variety of issues which continually to negatively impact black children. From the continued rise in OOW births, high school drop out rates, poverty, divorce and crime, african americans top the statistical charts.

The root causes of much of the aforementioned have been long since known. These findings were written in 1967 in a document titled REPORT OF THE NATIONAL ADVISORY COMMISSION ON CIVIL DISORDERS".

"Crime rates, consistently higher than in other areas, create a pronounced sense of insecurity. For example, in one city one low-income Negro district had 35 times as many serious crimes against persons as a high-income white district. Unless drastic steps are taken, the crime problems in poverty areas are likely to continue to multiply as the growing youth and rapid urbanization of the population outstrip police resources." www.eisenhowerfoundation.org
