October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, likely we all know someone who has been affected by this dreadful illness. Perhaps you have been in the role of supportive partner, relative or friend. Whatever your connection to breast cancer and other serious chronic physical illnesses, it takes an emotional tollnot only on the patients,  but on those around the patient.
