Jess was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 10. She began using the Minimed Pump in 1998 and recently began using the Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM). In January, Jess began blogging about diabetes, random musings and thoughts in her life. She is an active member of the Diabetes Online Community and Diabetes Advocates .
