Girl Scouts–Arizona Cactus-Pine Council is committed to providing all girls with opportunities that promote self-reliance, respect for others, a sense of belonging and leadership skills. An important way in which this is accomplished is through the Just Us-Social Justice programs. These are prevention and early-intervention programs aimed at breaking the intergenerational cycle of abuse, poverty and crime some girls face on a daily basis. These programs offer a range of free services to girls residing in low-income neighborhoods, housing projects, homeless shelters and girls involved in the juvenile justice and corrections systems.
