DFSR’s Doug Norrie and James Davis take to the podcast to discuss a full night in baseball. They start with the discussion around the top three pitchers on the slate: Jacob deGrom, Alex Wood, Lance Mccullers. There are cases for and against each and it mostly centers on price. deGrom is very expensive but has been excellent this season. Wood’s been an ace but there are always some pitch count concerns with the Dodgers. And finally, McCullers is coming the cheapest of the three but is just two starts back from injury.
They also take a look at Robbie Ray, Sonny Gray and Jacob Faria.
On the offensive side they throw out the Rays as a great stack against Chris Tillman, both sides of the Brewers/ Marlins game and the Rangers against Mike Pelfrey.
