Desire 2 Inspire With Tanneka is a show dedicated to edifying and inspiring listeners to create their own tranquil and harmonious peace within themselves and their lives. Though the show focuses on inspiring individuals and their selfless contribution to the world, Guice also dialogs about current events and openly invites caller comments and questions. In order to attract a more diverse audience, the show will focus on an array of topics, such as Health, Finances, Entrepreneurship, Love & Relationships, Self-Help, Up and Coming Community Advocates and Parenting. Guice’s rich history in radio makes her no stranger to the airwaves. She fell in love with the microphone long before she became radio host of her own show.A 1999 graduate from Alcorn State University in Mississippi, Guice received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications. Her first taste of the radio came in the summer of 1997 where she began volunteering and soon became an intern with the campus radio station, 91.7AM- WPRL. Upon graduating, she continued to volunteer at the campus station and even began volunteering with a local radio station in Port Gibson, MS. There, Guice served as the morning host of the AM Gospel Program. Unforeseen circumstances kept Tanneka at her Alma Mater where she continued her educational heights, where she sought and received her Master’s degree in Education with a special endorsement in Early Childhood Education.
