Good morning and welcome to Get Healthy Now. We have only 2 days left in 2021, then we start the New Year 2022. Are you making New Year's Resolutions? Do they work for you? How long do you keep them? Do you have New Year's Goals? What changes do you chose to make? Have the last 2 years with Covid-19, Delta Variant and now Omicron Variant affected you in any way, be it mentally, physically or financially? What were your biggest struggles? Did you conquer them or did they conquer you? What will change for you in 2022, why, how, when? Have you made some great decisions you will follow through and not give up, even when the tough gets going? Have you ever made a vision board with the things you dream about having, achieving, doing, listed with dates so you have a way of tracking your progress? I'm...

Benefits of vision boards: you can see what to focus on, you can track your progress and celebrate when you reach that goal. If you need extra time, just change the date, the dream or vision or goal stays the same.

Involve the family, make everyone accountable.

When children are involved, have them make their own vision board. Help them realize that the more they support you in yours, the easier it is for them to achieve theirs: time, respect, doing the chores, giving you space when needed, yet enjoying the time together when scheduled.

Team work makes the dream work!

Vision boards can be done for one month, 6 month, 1 year, 5 year, 10 year goals, choose what serves you best.

This can be a fun activity for New Year's Eve to sit together as a family, talk, plan, cut, tape or glue the pictures, add dates, maybe even break down what it takes to achieve the goal.
