Good morning and welcome to Get Healthy Now. Last week I spoke about Halloween, suggestions on how to keep this a safe holiday, avoiding getting sick, helping and respecting others, etc. Today, I want to continue with suggestions and activities to keep you healthy over the next 2 months with all the Holidays. Halloween 10/31: google Halloween safety tips (for your area), so you know the latest updates and can prepare for a safe, fun holiday for you and yours.
Daylight Saving Time Ends on November 7, 2021. Start adjusting your time change. Falling back an hour and sleeping longer is usually not a problem, it's Spring Time with moving an hour forward that causes many mental and physical challenges.

In 72 days is January 1, 2022: Ready to reset your health goals, start the new year as a new you, etc.?
What do these holidays have in common? People gathering, eating, drinking, laughing, having fun, sharing, hugging.
How can you be safe while doing this and having fun and enjoying a gathering? Keep gatherings small, to family members only, or go outside where you can easily do the 6 ft physical distancing. Maybe rent a huge tent and heaters to keep warm while the air circulates and you keep safe.
