What is so special about JUNE? It's the 6th months in the year. It marks beginning of summer. It's known for it's celebrations: Graduation, Birthdays, Births, Weddings, Father's Day, Children out of school for the summer, unless it's a year around school,
June 1: Global Day of Parents
June 3: World Bicycle Day (mom's 90th birthday, went on bike ride with 3 of my brothers and my sister)
June 4: Int'l Day of Innocent Children Victims, Nat'l Cheese Day
June 5: World Environment Day
June 6: D-Day Anniversary
June 20: Start of Summer (Summer Solstice)
June 21: Father's Day
Why is this month important to me? Many birthdays in the family, our 40th wedding anniversary, Father's Day...read a poem or 2.
What has changed for you during this month from 2019 to 2020?
How can you still make all the events special, celebrations a memorable day? Home made gifts, cards, arts and crafts,poems, baking, cooking, cleaning, spending time with loved ones...
How does any of this have to do with healthy body, mind and finances? Spending time together does not cost any money. Doing fun activities at home helps both body and mind. When all three are in balance, that is called a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
Challenge: Make a home made card for the appropriate occasion, write a poem, do some arts and crafts, email me a copy of what you've done, be honest. Best entry will receive a prize from me.
