Good morning and welcome to Get Healthy Now with Denise Thomson, nurse, fitness trainer, educator, blogtalkradio host, best selling author and certified transformational health coach.
Today I want to share HOPE, HEALTH, and ACTIVITIES that can lift up your spirit, shift your negative thoughts to positive ones, make you happy; therefore, healthy in body, mind and finances.
HOPE: This too shall pass. When things got tough as a child, mom always said: "The soup is not eaten as hot as it's cooked", meaning, let it cool down a bit. When we have negative thoughts for whatever reason or excuse, let's use the Stop, Challenge, Choose and shift into a positive frame of mind. It can only get better! Let's remain calm, collected, positive, happy and healthy.
HEALTH: A positive mindset keeps you healthy or healthier than a negative one. About 85% of all illnesses originate from a negative mindset. Love to share the very positive Habits of Health System that works on shift in mindset first, which then carrys on to healthy body, mind, and finances. Attitude = 100%
ACTIVITIES: With everyone being at home during this physical distancing, find some activities you can do with the family, by yourself, for yourself. Reading, playing music, painting, drawing, knitting, crocheting, jump roping, shooting baskets, puzzles, crossword puzzles, hot bath, medication, relaxation, finishing up a project, learning a new language, instrument, walking stairs, when on ph, walk around, etc.
You can google for indoor activities that meet your needs, have structure in your life, get dressed, put on some makeup, feel good...Do something good for someone else, call them, write letters/cards,
