How Does Change In Weather Affect You?
Fall and winter weather doesn't just influence what you wear—it can also influence how you feel. From your knee predicting it's going to rain to gasping for air during an uber-windy cold snap, here are just some of the ways your body can go haywire when the temperature changes.
Headaches and Migraines (barometric pressure greatly affects your physical condition)
Dry Skin, Eczema
Low Energy and Moodswings
Vitamin D Deficiency
Breathing Problems
Icky Colds
Joint Pain, Muscle Pain, Injuries
Weakened Hair and Nails
Infections and illnesses of the upper respiratory tract
Chronic sinus and throat issues
Seasonal asthma and bronchitis trigged by cold air
Seasonal allergies from pollen
Cold and flu outbreaks
Blood Pressure: reduce salt and alcohol intake
More deaths due to cold, not eough nutrition, not warm enough, more susseptible to flu and cold, etc.
When our body aches, the pain goes to the brain and mindset changes from positive to negative affecting our mood, which affects our body more. Going to the doctor takes time and costs money (co-pay, medication, tests, X-Rays, etc.), hence, affecting body mind and finances. When we are sick, our BP goes up fighting the illness, catch 22, full-circle.
Avoid getting sick: dress warmly, (in layers), hydrate, eat properly, exercise your body and your mind, stay away from sick people...
