Honestly, we have not known this song, nor ever done 12 days of Christmas; however, what we did do as children or our parents made for us was an Advent's Calendar with a goodie behind each door of the calendar. That was so much fun! I made some of those Advent's Calendars for my daughter when she was younger. I made them with small match boxes, so I could fit either a sticker, a quarter, a small piece of chocolate, or something in it, I knew she'd be excited about.
