Preparation is for both, parent(s) and child(ren). Start 5 weeks ahead. Reset Body Clock, Sleep pattern, Make waking up fun and worth it...

Figure out a plan that makes it fun and not stressful. When you laugh, play, do fun projects, sports, sleep well, eat healthy - less to no stress.

Be present with your child at home, help with home work if needed, sit with child, encourage, you might show BUT NOT DO how h/w is done. Do some stretches, breathing, moving around to get the blood flowing to the brain after having sat for about 15 min. (or less, dep. on child)

Make learning FUN!
