What do Friends have to do with your mental, physical and financial health?

Who is a friend?

How do we make or become friends?

OK, first a definition by Webster's Dictionary:

"One attached to another by affection or regard, an intimate; an acquaintance....

Someone once said: "A stranger is a friend we have not met yet"

Why do we need friends?

ex.: friendship, companionship, activity partner, team player, confidant, sharing secrets, special bond, connected, more fun, 

A true friend is always there for you

A true friend will help you no matter the problem

A true friend is like a sister or brother who knows you better than you know yourself 

A true friend is someone who knows when you're sad, and can cheer you up when you need it most

A true friend is someone that can make you laugh no matter what they say or do

A true friend is someone who believes in you

A true friend will stick by your side

A true friend is someone you can call just if you need a shoulder to lean on
