Good morning and welcome to Get Healthy Now with Denise Thomson, Certified Health and Wellness Coach, nurse, fitness trainer, educator, speaker and author.

The last two weeks we have covered Habits of Motion and Thermogenesis. Today I want to stress how important Movement is. Not everything has to be structured, you can do things you enjoy and see reap positive results.

ex.: As you know by now, I have come a long way from being obese to being "normal" in weight. Yes, I started in January 2016 at 178 lbs, then started a diet until September 2016 and lost only 13 lbs. At that time I found this amazing program I am still following as it helped and still helps me change my habits of disease into habits of health. As of this morning, I weigh 123 lbs and am feeling great! What have I done to get here?

The last few days I went for walks: nature, beauty, fresh air, meeting people, body, soul and emotions, hydration, short rests when needed, taking pictures

1. I followed the program to the "T".

2. No cheating on anything.

3. Always chose what's best for me, not what I wanted. I knew what that was, since I've been studying it, so it was easy to make that decision.

4. Omitted any additional sugars, as each time you eat sugar, your fat burn stops and it takes about 4 days to get it back.

5. Last week, having reached my second weight goal, I cheated twice. I adjusted the other meals to make up for the calorie difference.

6. Do NOT feel deprived.
