Good morning and welcome to Get Healthy Now with Denise Thomson, author, speaker, and inspirer for happy, healthy and balanced living.

Next Thursday is Thanksgiving. I want to give you some tips on how to have the most wonderful, relaxed and delicious Thanksgiving ever.

Delegate the food. You do not have to prepare everything yourself. Ask friends and family to bring their favorite dish. You will get a wonderful variety that everyone can enjoy. So what if you have twice the same dish. Likelyhood, it does NOT taste the same.

You can even do that right now, make a list, so you know who does what and hold them responsible.

Have crafts for the children of all ages, the older ones can help the younger ones. Keep them happy and busy.

Play nice music in the background. It's soothing and keeps the chatter down a bit, at least the volume!

Sharing in the chores to put on a wonderful Thanksgiving doubles the joy as nobody is overwhelmed.

Do not frett about anything. Take it as it is. This is a celebration to give THANKS and not to complain.

Set the stage with positivity. Send the nags out the door and don't allow them back in until they are positive.
