Wednesday, June 15, 2016 flight, Car rental, Funeral Home to finalize everything, found out about misunderstanding..  The staff looked at us and said: "It takes at least two days to get the paperwork ready, the hole dug, etc., there is nothing we can do."..

We shared with the staff important Dashes in his Father's life, and how he affected us. Pone call .Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM, plot ready. 

This showed us how open, sincere and direct conversation can solve a problem and find a solution. We filled out the paperwork, were asked about a marker and what we wanted on it. We wanted his name, D.O.B. and D.O.D. with a grape vine ingraved in the marker, paid for it and..... We were asked: "slashes or dashes" for the dates. We said DASHES. We told the staff asked about the Poem THE DASH by Linda Ellis. I found it on my phone and read it to them. Suddenly, what looked like a helpless situation turned into a great solution.

Moral of story: "Ask and you shall receive".
