October-National Breast Cancer Survivors Month is coming to a close. Pink's the dominant color of the month and just about everyone's buzzing about breast cancer events. We had Think-Pink fund-raising marches, dances, sales, fashion shows, television commercials, and all the trappings that come with the fun-side of raising breast cancer awareness, and it’s all good and very commercial, but did it really impact you on a deeper level? Did it really make a difference in your life? Once the hoopla stops, ask yourself: What did you really learn about the disease? What do you remember about breast cancer prevention, or the way it can impact you, your family and friends? Let’s review breast cancer information that really matters- facts and figures, dos and don’ts, myths and statistics that can save your life. Log on, the chat-room is open. Call: 347-945-5853.
