This introductory program explains what can be done to help you and how debt collection companies buyout credit card debt and unpaid loans from banks and other lenders, and then try to collect the debt from you in order to turn a profit.  Due to outright fraud on the part of some debt collectors, various technicalities, or a lack of the records from the original lender being in their possession, the debt collectors may not legally have a right to collect the debt.

We'll look at the new laws passed that became effective in 2010, informing you of your rights.
