Many fear that America’s 2016 Presidential election represents America’s “final test” in defense of freedom. In fact, it’s been characterized as the Flight 93 Election—suggesting that, despite no guarantees, Patriots must charge the proverbial cockpit, or die. Mindful of worldview politicking, our national trajectory under a progressive administration, and our destiny as a nation, liberty-loving Americans persist in adhering to the mantra, “Less Tax, Less Government, More Freedom.” This, in fact, is the motto of today's guest Rep. Matt Shea (R, WA State).

A respected member of the WA House of Representatives from the 4th District, Rep. Shea is also a highly decorated veteran of the US Army & WA Army National Guard. Recognized as the top-rated captain in his battalion, Matt served his country in the Bosnian and Iraq wars.

With a B.A. in History and Political Science, Matt Shea graduated cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law. His radio broadcast for Patriots follows the legacy of the late Dr. Stanley Monteith, my longtime friend, who faithfully brought "the Story behind the Story, the News behind the News," specifically in defense of freedom. With this in view, Shea supports (and co-founded) Washington State’s Freedom Agenda; and he co-founded the Washington Family Foundation, which later merged with the Family Policy Institute of Washington. ACT for America Founder and President Brigitte Gabriel praises Matt Shea as a tireless fighter on issues of national security.

Please tune in to examine how the November 2016 election speaks to America's final test in defense of freedom.
