Tony Ortega is a journalist who was formerly the editor of The Village Voice. He has written about Scientology since 1995, and today covers it as a daily news beat at his website, "The Underground Bunker" (tonyortega.org). His book about Scientology's most infamous campaign of terror -- "The Unbreakable Miss Lovely: How the Church of Scientology tried to destroy Paulette Cooper" -- came out in May 2015. He appeared in Alex Gibney's 2015 HBO documentary, "Going Clear," and in Leah Remini's A&E series, "Scientology and the Aftermath." He lives in New York.
