With so many kids committing crimes, it has me thinking about the judicial system, and whether or not kids should have the responsibility of being tried as an adult. Studies show that a child(under 18 yrs old) have not formed the cognitive thoughts of an adult, so why should they be held responsible as one? How responsible should parents be in the event of their child committing a crime that warrants them to be tried as an adult? In an egregious case of First-degree murder etc, a lot of those kids will not get a second chance at life, is that fair to the child?
