The temptation that we are going to continue looking at today is the sin of "lust."
TEXT: 1 Peter 2:9-12
From this passage, we have seen two reasons why we should abstain from fleshly lusts. (1) Because God has made us a part of a "chosen generation, a royal priesthood" set apart for Himself. (2) Because, as such, our purpose as believers is to "shew forth" or advertise the praises of God. Let's dig even deeper into this second reason.
