How to Overcome Temptation, Part 59 (Onward Christian Soldiers #183)

The temptation that we are going to continue looking at today is the sin of "lust."

TEXT: James 1:13-15

This passage tells us that the deepest source of temptation is not the devil, nor the world, but our very own flesh. It is our "own lust" that draws us away from the straight and narrow path. Most people think that if something comes from within them and is for their own pleasure, then it must not be bad. But the Bible tells us that the lust that is within "conceives and brings forth sin; and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death."
