How to Overcome Temptation, Part 54 (Onward Christian Soldiers #178)

The temptation that we are going to continue looking at today is the sin of "lust."

TEXT: Hebrews 13:4: "Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge."

Marriage is a holy institution created by God between the first man and the first woman to be perpetuated throughout the human race. Today, however, this wonderful institution seems to be facing decline on many fronts. Tragically, the US government has legalized the abomination of homosexuality and homosexual marriage.  And the, from divorce and remarriage to single parenthood and blended families, the God-ordained vision of marriage is being challenged like never before. Now, it has gotten to the point where, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, more people are delaying marriage or not getting married at all. So while the baby boomers are getting divorced, the millennials are not getting married at all, and Generation X doesn’t even know what marriage is. Yet, the Bible says, "Marriage is honorable in all."
