Kenneth Braswell has spent over 32 years in the service of family and community. A husband and father of five, he created Fathers Incorporated (FI) in 2004 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. For 12 years FI has also served as the prime contractor for HHS’s National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse (fatherhoodgov). In 2006 Braswell became the Director of the New York State Fatherhood Initiative, overseeing more than $11 million in programs, conducting a $1 million comprehensive evaluation, and managing the NYS Noncustodial Earned Income Tax Credit. Throughout his career, he has managed over $70 million in Fatherhood Programming. He is an author, documentarian filmmaker, Certified Master Life Coach, and Anger Management Specialist II. In 2021, Braswell was honored by Oprah Winfrey and the OWN Network for his work with Black Fathers. In 2019, Braswell was honored by the Atlanta Business Chronicle with the Small Businessperson of the Year Award - Servant Entrepreneur, and in 2020 with the Leader in Corporate Citizenship Award. Braswell is the author of several books for children and adults, a sought-after speaker, a social entrepreneur, a blogger, and a documentarian filmmaker. He and his work have been featured in NY Times, CNN, PBS, Good Morning America, Ebony, and Black Enterprise. Fatherhood is not only his work but his mission. Kenneth has had numerous awards bestowed upon him, including the Black Enterprise Man of Distinction Award. He was a 40 Under 40 awardee and has received the prestigious Ebony MANifest Honors Award and the inaugural Black and Married with Kids Standards Award.
