Our panel of published authors is very diverse. We have a Washington D.C. beltway insider working for CNN, a contributing author for the Chicken Soup for the Soul books from Alabama who is also part Native American, A Ph.D. in English Lit from Canada and a former undercover state investigator and author of books about Chicago and Las Vegas based Mobsters. Lou Allin - Born in Toronto, Canada, raised in Ohio. She has a Ph.D. in English Renaissance literature and teaches at Cambrian College. She lives on Vancouver Island and her latest book is Man Corn Murders, set in Utah. Theresa Jensen-Lacey - Author, freelance journalist and professional speaker in Fairhope, Alabama. She is a contributing author to the Chicken Soup for the Soul books and her most recent book series is Lacey's Amazing America. Theresa is also part Native American and writes about that the Native American culture. John DeDakis - John grew up in La Crosse, Wisconsin and earned a BA in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1977. John is currently a senior copy editor for "The Situation Room." John's most recent book is Fast Track. Wolf Blitzer, CNN Anchor, wrote a good review of Fast Track. Dennis "Denny" Griffin - Dennis started his career as a private investigator with Pinkerton’s Inc., working mostly undercover assignments. He also worked as the Director of Investigations with the New York State Department of Health. In 2002 a lady at a writer’s conference suggested he try writing police-related non-fiction. He started writing Policing Las Vegas, the history of law enforcement in Las Vegas and Clark County, which was released in 2005. His most recent non-fiction book in 2007 was "CULLOTTA – The Life of a Chicago Criminal, Las Vegas Mobster, and Government Witness." All our panel authors are featured in CyberVillage.
