We have an amazing show lined up on Fostering airing live this Wednesday. Dr. John DeGarmo, Author, Leading Expert in the Foster Care System, will join us for Fostering Resources. Topics: being a foster parent; challenges faced in school, behavior problems; grief and loss with foster parents; the online dangers facing children with social media and general foster care facts and concerns. Heather O’Neil, author of several novels and main advocate for National Foster Childrens Day, will speak about her efforts in gaining recognition for that cause; lack of insurance for foster children; and adjusting after failed adoptions. Chris Chimelewski, publisher and editor of the very successful “Foster Focus” magazine, will discuss his experiences in pulling together a magazine aimed specifically at foster children.
