Rev. Hartsfield, serves as senior pastor of the Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church, he is the CEO of Field of Hearts Productions, a musical production company based in Atlanta, Georgia. where he has participated in numerous professional sacred recordings. His educational credentials consist of a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the Conservatory of Music and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, the Master of Divinity from Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) and an earned Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible from Emory University. He has been listed in the Who’s Who among undergraduate and graduate students. He is member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. In the two decades while serving God, he has introduced to many ministry roles within the institutionalized church. such as assistant pastor at First Mount Pleasant Baptist Church before becoming pastor, minister of music at Linden Institutional CME Church and Calvary United Methodist Church, and minister of evangelism at Metropolitan. Pastor Dr. Hartsfield has served various Para-church organizations such as the National Baptist Convention of America, Inc. as president of the Youth Convention, an Atlanta church collaboration in which he founded, and a ministry partner with the Congress of National Black Churches during its existence. Currently Rev. Hartsfield, II has had the privilege to serve as instructor and professor at Morehouse College and Interdenominational Theological Center. Future aspirations of Rev Hartsfield include both writing for the African-American church and teaching at the university level
