White Privilege and Black Prejudice: Are They Real? How Do They Affect Us?

How many of you saw the 2016 BET Awards? How many of you saw Jesse Williams give his acceptance speech? How many of you stood where you were at the time and CLAPPED? How many of you were offended by him and/or his speech? Many felt like that speech was well over due and that kind of platform needed to be used to check the pulse of race-relations in America. While some felt it was classic liberal race baiting, culture appropriating. Should more entertainers use their platform to raise awareness, speak to issues that plague our society, and stand up for a cause? And just plain old Speak Their Respective mind(s)?
