Cox Reduces PC Power Consumption by 40 Percent

Cox Communications has deployed Verdiem’s SURVEYOR PC energy management software on 15,000 of its networked PCs and has achieved energy cost savings of nearly 40 percent. A subsidiary of Cox Enterprises, Cox Communications deployed Verdiem’s PC power management solution as part of Cox Conserves (www.coxconserves.com), Cox Enterprises’ national sustainability program to conserve resources, embrace renewable forms of energy and further reduce the company's greenhouse gas emissions by 20 percent by 2017.
