With a myriad of entertainment choices for the American consumer, has the ubiquitous radio outlived its usefulness? From media consolidation to the death of the true "disc jockey," a souring economy, an economic base tied to advertising, and greater competition has made many a radio station owner shudder in wonder. Is there light at the end of the tunnel?

KJTZ-FM's Pete Garcia will be joining us. We will be discussing terrestrial radio, the challenges of running a radio station, and the future of radio. Pete will also discuss his experience in voiceover artistry and show what it takes to make and maintain a "radio voice." We also will be discussing the week's newsmakers and current events. And your calls! (646) 478-4308.
