In this episode, we discuss #AirQuality with Councilman Rey Saldaña from District 4. Councilman Saldaña was elected to San Antonio City Council in May 2011 and has been a lifelong resident of City Council District 4. He attended Stanford University where he earned two bachelor's degrees in political science and communication, as well as a fifth-year master's degree in policy, organization, and leadership studies through Stanford's School of Education.

Saldaña made a strong pro-transit pitch to the public to get on board and give VIA Metropolitan Transit's bus system a try. To get the true experience he kept his car parked at home and became a dedicated bike and bus rider for a month.

The #BreatheTodaySaTomorrow campaign is produced by the City of San Antonio's Office of Sustainability. More information on #AirQualty and the campaign can be found on our website http://www.sanantonio.gov/sustainability/
