From South Dakota to DC based, David Dyson is seemingly known WAY past the states.


Little wonder - his bass playing elicits cries of delight and incredulity...how one man can be so tender, strong, funky, fun and fabulously talented with those fingers is anyone's guess. And ALL of us share in the blessing of knowing he's among us. To actually know him is icing on the cake :)

... We'll find out how the journey from playing as a kid - and being inspired by Larry Graham and Louis Johnson - turned into a solid education at Berklee - and catapaulted him into the ranks of Serious Player.

We could drop names here, but we'll force David into doing that. And sometimes you just MUST force him, because he's far too humble to recount how many times artists have begged him to play with them.

And I mean begging. THAT astounding.
