Dementia Hospital Wristband Project

A change in setting such as being admitted to a hospital can be very upsetting and traumatic for a person with dementia.  Not only has their routine been changed and new people are caring for them. Often the staff in a hospital have not received the necessary training to work and communicate with the person with dementia.

Today Gary Joseph LeBlanc will be joining host Tami Neumann in conversation about a program he developed.  He developed this program after his own experience with his father in the hospital.

Join us in conversation as we see how this program is working to help keep those with dementia safe in a hospital setting.
