0100 2010, Fri, June 11, Conservative Latino Talk Radio, America's only daily conservative talk radio from the Latino perspective, reports from the Republican Party of Texas Convention in Dallas, Texas. I was in attendance of a breakfast during which the RPT demonstrated a film featuring Latino leaders and the Rick Perry campaign discussed the growing strength of the Latino community and the Latino vote and how it is essential for Republicans to respect that and work hard to court that vote. Governor Perry took the stage and spoke, in a very down to earth fashion, about the history, significance and value of the Latino community. While I am not easily impressed, I was deeply impressed and moved by Governor Perry's comments which struck right to the Latino heart. After the breakfast I was interviewed by a local radio station and asked if this function would "turbocharge" the Latino community. I reported that this was not new for Governor Perry and he was simply continuing to address the Latino community and the Latino vote. I hope other Republican candidates and other Republican groups will follow his lead. I was deeply impressed with Governor Perry's sincerity, experience, understanding and his simple down to earth nature. I now know with abundance why my friend, Mrs. Adryana Boyne, is so very proud of Governor Perry.
