Don and Tomas - Cuban Americans Won't Go For This Nonsense Again

    in Politics

The two Cuban amigos are kicking butt and naming names. Tune in at 6 PM Saturday with your questions and comments.Cuban Americans will rise up to lead our fellow Americans out of this social morass because we've seen this before and we damn sure aren't going there again! We especially want to hear from you average communist dupes who feel the crooked government will make us equal.

One tip for the police. During the communist revolution in Cuba the police were lined up against a wall and shot. So don't be fed a fake narrative that aides another banker backed socialist revolutionary who admits he want to transform America.

LatinoTalk Texas 2014, 0044 Texas: Epicenter of the coming Immigration Debate

    in Politics

LatinoTalk Texas is America's only daily independent political analysis from the Latino perspective.  On today's show, I discuss political analysis on the actions of the nation's leading VENDIDO, Rafael "Ted" Cruz, and how his bullying tactics and most ardent anti-immigration efforts are the polar opposite of Jeb Bush who both favors immigration reform and public school reform. I read articles about both and add my analysis about them and note that Cruz, along with Mike Lee of Utah and Rand Paul of Kentucky, were all elected with a harsh enforcement only anti-immigration perspective and I submit that agenda is actually anti-Latino in its motivation is also very divisive and polarizing. On the other hand, Jeb Bush, former Florida Governor and originally from Texas is the polar opposite but also Republican. He is for immigration reform and public school reform, both topics important and favored by Latinos. Bush has won larger percentages of Latino voters in the past buth can he, as a Republican, win back all those Latinos and more driven away from the party by bullies like Rafael Ted Cruz, the Vendido? I also notice that the Democrats who also do not favor immigration reform but rather remain quiet on the topic and allow the the deeply divided GOP to self destruct. Their strategy will be to wait and see and rely upon the fact that they have had the Latino vote for decades and assume the GOP will mess up like Romney in the past and drive away more and more Latino voters in the next major election. I propose that while Arizona was ground zero for the immigration debate in the years past that Texas and what it does under Abbott and Patrick will become the new epicenter of the immigration debate in America especially since Cruz and Bush and Paul are all from Texas. Except that Cruz, the Vendido, is actually from Canada!

LatinoTalk Texas 2014, 0043 Catholic traditions & 287g Immigration Enforcement

    in Politics

LatinoTalk Texas is news, issues and interviews important to Latinos in America.  On today's show, December 12th, I discuss the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe which is very important to Latinos in America, especially Mexicanos and ethnic Mexicans like myself. I read an article about riders in Illinois who rode to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Des Plaines and delivered a rose while passing on horseback. I went on to read more news from the Catholic News Service concerning the Synod of the Family and Conscious Rights of Catholics under assault in liberal America both by the Obama administration and the liberal City of Washington DC which enacted similar ordinances as Plano, and Houston, Texas which challenge religious freedom and expression. Later in the show, a caller, Juan Martinez, a former police officer in the Dallas Ft. Worth area called to ask about 287g, a federal program that enables local law enforcement to question person incarcerated to determine if they should be evaluated by immigration enforcement. Martinez wanted to know if that program is still in effect. I reported that as I know it is but in reference to SB 1070 which was largely found to be unconstitutional but also still authorized in vague terms state and local law enforcement to be "assist" immigration and customs authorities. Previously, this was not true as the Supremacy Clause prevented state and local LEO from investigating such matters without 287g authorization. However, since the SB1070 case, states have new authorization and in places like Arizona, they uses it indiscriminately and over zealously. I am very worried about the laws Dan Patrick will pass here in Texas and use it to violate the rights of Latinos here in Texas simply because we may look "foreign." Clearly a violation of the 4th Amendment.

    Part 3 - Remembering Protocol

    in The Bible

Let all things be done decently and in order. I Cor 14:40

Let your moderation be known unto all men. The YHWH is at hand. Phil 4:5

For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in YHWH the Son. Col 2:5

26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.

27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.

28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and toYHWH.

29 Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.

30 If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.

31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.

32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.

33 For YHWH is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.I Cor 14: 26-33

For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee: Titus 1:5

The US Policy Shift on Cuba—What it Means

    in Culture

Global Peeks discusses United States/Cuba relations with Brian Becker, the National Coordinator of the A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition that has fought against the U.S. Empire half century aggression on Cuba and efforts of regime change. President Barack Obama has moved to lift the sanctions and end the hostility between the two nations.

However after 50 + year of Embargo, numerous assassination attempts on Fidel Castro & illegal spying & meddling, can the U.S. be trusted?  Mr. Becker will discuss the implications and the victory of the remaining Cuban 5 being released after unjustly serving 16 yrs as Political Prisoners in the U.S.

Brian Becker has been a central organizer of the mass anti-war demonstrations that have taken place in Washington, D.C. & around the US over the past decade.

  • Critical Discourse – Black Men, the Mayor of NYC and the NYPD; Viva Cuba?

    in Current Events

The reverberations from the Richmond County Grand Jury’s decision not to indict Daniel Pantaleo, of the NYPD, continue to be felt.

While protests on behalf of Eric Garner and Michael Brown, have been largely peaceful, if not very inconveniencing for New Yorkers, there have been sporadic instances of violence,

During a protest on the Brooklyn Bridge last Saturday, two men, both white, one a college professor, allegedly triggered a melee and assaulted police.

In the meantime, the events and reactions from that fateful day has caused tension between Mayor DiBlasio and the head of the Patrolman’s Benevolent Association, Patrick Lynch, who has accused the mayor of making remarks that are disrespectful of the police.

In fact, some of the NYPD have supported a pledge to disinvite the Mayor to their funerals.

On the international front, Barack Obama has decided to establish diplomatic and economic relations with Cuba, citing that the embargo, in place since 1961, has “not worked”.

Again, as expected, the reactions vary, with intense criticism from Sens. Marco Rubio Robert Menendez, both of whom are of Cuban heritage.

On the other hand, Jimmy Carter praised Obama’s “political courage”. Perhaps he sees this as a sort of redemption from the Mariel Boatlift?

I wonder out loud, what this means for black people economically, with an anticipated influx of Cubans to this country, just 90 miles away.

For those old enough to remember, this conjures memories of the Bay of Pigs (1961) and Cuban Missile Crisis (1962).

By the WAY, Obama says that black people are “better off” (HE said it, NOT me!)

So be prepared to discuss these pointed issues on the Critical Discourse University of the Blogosphere.
