Archie Andrews Dead?!

This week's New Comc Book Day gave us so many great stories.  I had to reduce my list so I could reasonably justify my comic book budget.  Ms. Marvel is continuing to please the masses.  And she actually had a team-up this month.  Magneto is another great book so far.  And Archie Andrews dies heroically in the pages of Life With Archie issue 36.  What do you all think about major character deaths in comics?
