NeoSouljah was discovered at an International Music Conference by Stellar/Dove award winner recording artist Babbie Mason, who baptized her NeoSouljah. She has since that time graced stages in the company of such noted HBO Def Poets as Peabody/Tony award winners Abyss and Georgia Me; stood in the pulpits across the country and perform her poetry at national and regional conferences, as well as taking home honors in various Slam competitions. As both an Educator and Spoken Word Artist, she both implemented and oversaw the Open Mic session of Spoken Word at The National Society of Black Engineers convention on the National level, and was the very first clinician approved to approach the topics of relationships and sexual/emotional responsibility in their engineering focused workshop forum - Sex And The City: Being Healed From Emotionally Transmitted Diseases. Her brand new album "NSV - NeoSoul version" is due out in October.
