Amy Wolfinbarger is a long time Ohio cannabis reform activist.  She is the founder of Sensible Norwood and author of the Norwood Cannabis Ordinance.  After an original ballot placement denial and a challenge before the State Supreme Court, she rewrote the initiative in 2018, acquired ballot placement and passed her ordinance by 73% of the vote.  She also rallied her community and prevented a permanent ban on cannabis businesses.

In addition to her work in Norwood, Amy has volunteered on numerous statewide legalization initiatives.  She was regional coordinator for Ohio Rights Group, regional manager for Ohioans to end prohibition and southwest regional coordinator for Ohioans for medical marijuana.  She testified before the Senate for HB523.  Amy also sat as Executive Director for Miami Valley Norml where she organized events, signature drives, educational meetings, participated in letter writing campaigns and lobby day events.

Because of her work as a grassroots activist, Amy has spent a great deal of time out in the community.   She has developed a true passion for people and local politics.  She firmly believes people should have a voice in government.   When you combine her belief in democracy, and passion for her community, it only makes sense that she is now running for Norwood City council.

Join us for "A Cup of Joe" to find out what YOU can do to help The Human Solution International accomplish our mission of ending cannabis prohibition to ensure civil and basic human rights.
