"Despite a deeply held belief in Washington that Congress reflects the views of the people, most Americans don’t share that sentiment.  The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that just 11% of Adults believe Congress is a good reflection of the views of the American people. Seventy-four percent (74%) say Congress is not a good reflection of those views, while another 15% are undecided. Just two months after seating the 113th Congress and they are already totally out of touch with their constituents.  How is this either mathematically or statistically possible?  And more importantly, how can we, The People redirect/repurpose our representatives to get them to do what we want them too?

Press '1' for Democracy will center on the issues of the day most germane to the Party’s core objectives.  However, we will endeavor to have one or more guests on each show; either subject matter experts or representatives of like-minded groups such as Move to Amend, Business Ethics Network, and others that are embroiled in the same battles and for the same causes as Coffee Party USA.
