Coexist 13 Turning Scars Into Stars and Love for the Loveless

Liz - everybody always asks what is love for the Loveless? It is a non-profit within our nonprofit coexist 13. we are trying to teach our kids how to set up and run their own charity organizations. After speaking with all are you they all agree that the main focus they wanted to target with helping the less fortunate, the homeless.

Gina- after the type of charity the kids agreed upon we started brainstorming on the name. We were right around the corner from Valentine's Day so we were incorporating the word love. We thought "well homeless people are often forgotten, passed  by and get no love, hence, LOVE for the Loveless was born...

Liz- now when we're putting this all together and going out there and talking about donations  we first ask,  "what kind of donations do we need well we need?" Anything and everything... What do homeless people need? Everything ,food ,clothing, water, candy ( for Valentines Day we gave them Valentine's Day candy and it felt like Christmas to them.) clothing items, box, everything, tends to sleep in, blanks, anything you know, and if you can't donate any of that, your time, come help us out, it's a rewarding, fulfilling experience.

Gina- our youth have already had the pleasure of Doing  2 events are already , Valentine's Day where the name originated from and for Easter. We try to set up a date for each holiday.
